Katerina Kokkotos is a high school student who attends Phillips Academy. Her interests are focused in science and humanities, with a particular interest in Biology and Classics. Katerina looks to further her knowledge and continue her studies in these fields. Within CATE, she has provided feedback on the curriculum and has recently helped to cross-reference each lesson with Massachusetts state standards. This will be valuable as it will allow teachers to know which standards are being met within each lesson and how to best implement each lesson in the classroom. She hopes to continue helping CATE by incorporating new research from the MIT community into the curriculum. Katerina will use her internship at CATE to expand her knowledge in sustainability and climate activism as well as advance her skills in research.
